I wonder how many days until the banks step in and take the asset being burned down

As long as possible, I kind of want Twitter to become absolutely unsalvageable, where only journalists, brands and celebrities would have stayed on it because their attention-based business model doesn't work as well on the #Fediverse.

I want it to die too

But it's a question of "is Musk allowed to fail"

in reply to silverwizard

This is the ultimate test that he has setup for himself when he 100% didn't have to. I don't have the answer and I assume many people didn't even think the question would ever have been asked in the first place.

Yeah

Twitter owns 20 extra billion of debt collateralized by Tesla stock, so even if it goes bankrupt, Elon loses Tesla, and if it doesn't go bankrupt, Elon might need to put all his money into that and that's a hell

And both of those would be fine for banks, but having Elon mad might not be

in reply to silverwizard

I should be happy that he's mad, but the devil you know is more comforting than the one you don't and I feel like it's going to be worse for many people before it gets any better.

The best part is that his girlfriend left him and now the place he goes for fun is bad, and he went to Halloween with his mom
