As long as possible, I kind of want Twitter to become absolutely unsalvageable, where only journalists, brands and celebrities would have stayed on it because their attention-based business model doesn't work as well on the #Fediverse.
This is the ultimate test that he has setup for himself when he 100% didn't have to. I don't have the answer and I assume many people didn't even think the question would ever have been asked in the first place.
Twitter owns 20 extra billion of debt collateralized by Tesla stock, so even if it goes bankrupt, Elon loses Tesla, and if it doesn't go bankrupt, Elon might need to put all his money into that and that's a hell
And both of those would be fine for banks, but having Elon mad might not be
I should be happy that he's mad, but the devil you know is more comforting than the one you don't and I feel like it's going to be worse for many people before it gets any better.
