@glyph Absolutely. Nothing Cook has done recently can really compare to Musk. Part of why single-elimination is a bit silly for anything other than first place.

(For me, Bezos wins handily, just because — while he's obviously still a huge net negative for society — Gates does a few good things here and there, but I can't think of anything remotely positive Bezos has done in the last 5 years?)

@glyph Kind of the logic I used, too, but also... Gates encouraging patenting the COVID vaccine has caused a lot of deaths, too.

@glyph It's not by far the most serious, but Bezos forming a movie studio so that he could meet actresses after his divorce has a huge enough skeevy factor that it absolutely affected my vote, too.

@Cassandra Granade 🏳️‍⚧️ @Glyph Yeah - a bunch of these real scumbags are going to get through the first round unscathed because far lesser evils are paired against each other, and some of the worst are in head to heads early

I'm having trouble with Pichai v. Nadella; Both all in on "AI", Pichai fired workers for the mildest protest, Nadella blatantly gives zero cares about labor; both shoving llms in places they don't belong....

@cthos I have personal reasons for my vote there, but if it weren't for that, yeah... that would have been hard as hell.
