I didn't get DSL in the US until 2000, and even then it was like, 1.2M - 1.5M.

I think they got the download up to 4M - 7M, but I was a weird stickler about symmetric bandwidth back then (totally unlike me now 👀).

What's the saying? "The future is already here — it's just not evenly distributed."?

@Cursed Silicon he very strongly does say that most places aren't California and so I forgave him. Fuuuuuck I remember 28.8 in 2002
