Mastodon does not appear to work on Lynx. FYI for those still trying out new browsers.

Took a while until I found elinks that I briefly experimented with: github.com/rkd77/elinks

During my search I stumbled upon browsh, that looks pretty cool: github.com/browsh-org/browsh (Edit: meh, it runs FF in the background...)

(Tried neither with Mastodon, just ICYMI)

@buherator I haven't tried either of those. I just wondered about Lynx since I have it but haven't touched it in years. I would have been shocked if there was a lightweight Mastodon web interface. It would be cool though.

@buherator Okay that's kind of cool. IDK that it's worth spinning up another web server to test it out since I can get pretty much all the same info from RSS, but I do like the idea.

@silverwizard Nice. Maybe it's an instance-specific thing. Mine redirected me to get a Mastodon client.

@cR0w Friendica is a different codebase entirely so it makes sense it's different
