Since all the search engines have died - does anyone remember the story of the IBM coffee mug?

I can't find any of the info and I'm looking for:
1) one of them
2) just the history

Wasn't it MIT? And a coffee pot rather than a mug? or am I thinking of a different story?
in reply to silverwizard

That is what I was thinking of. What's the coffee mug story?
in reply to chiasm

@chiasm legend (and old school IBM techs) speak of a coffee mug which was immune to spilling, the only thing that could be drunk from in IBM DCs. IBM developed and patented a design for a sippy cup for nerds in order to save computers.

oh wow, first I've heard of *that*. 😄 I hope you find a reference!

@Kicou do you have any leads? I swear this was a thing I've heard of, and you might know?
in reply to silverwizard

you were probably thinking of the Amdahl coffee mug?

@Kicou I had never heard this story, but it doesn't jive with my memory of the datacenter sippy cup, but I like it
