Thanks. Took a minute to figure out all the dumb settings I did, I deployed the mastodon instance from my cell phone keyboard in its entirety so it was harder than usual.

Oh damn! Are you using docker or did you rawdog an install via cellphone?!

I stood my instance up 6 years ago - but I gotta admin, I used a real computer >.<

fired up a debian 11 VM in proxmox and followed the install instructions from an iphone 14 max pro, lol

Damn - the exact correct amount of hardcore! My instance is one of the few services I have on an external VM still and not hosting on bhyve
