libreoffice on mac is weird. it doesn't install multiple apps; it uses one app for launching all of the other apps? like, there's no libreoffice calc, just libreoffice and then you click into calc

probably to save money on licensing or something? idk lol

that's how LibreOffice works everywhere - it's one app; the other things are shortcuts

i depend on the shortcuts because to me libreoffice seems like multiple apps to access

on my fedora laptop it presents itself as multiple apps, so it's jarring to me

Does Mac even have a concept of shortcuts like Windows (.lnk files) or Linux (.desktop files)?
