Seriously though, the term Exit in businesses is one of the most horrifying parts of modern capitalism.

You don't build a business to be a good business, you build a business to run until you find a way to squeeze all the money out as raw cash.
Yeah I think this really sums up the game - people can talk about businesses delivering value to the consumer but that's not actually what they're for, and in the highly-financialized environment we now live in, when consumer value happens it's basically incidental lol
Yeah - everything right up to the idea of a company is just a financial instrument
Yep yep!
