I have a Netflix subscription... I have no idea how to play games on Netflix. I'm sure I could figure it out, but Netflix is failing in not making it obvious and easy.

On iPhone at least, I just could download a game from the App Store and then log in with my Netflix account ingame to play it.
I’m not saying it is a good approach, but they seem to only be targeting mobile users of their app (apps? I only know iOS). In the app they do make it obvious and easy.
It’s front and centre in the mobile app - this is my default view on startup.

On android you can find the games into the Netflix app. That takes you to the download page of the Play Store and you can install and run it as any other app.

So far I tried a couple games, good ones, but i think playing on cell phone is not my thing, I need a real keyboard and a big screen 😋

Two ways. One - on your Apple or Android tablet/telephone you download a Netflix game, and log into it with your Netflix account. Two - you have a compatible device (like a recent TV) where the Netflix app gives you the option of streaming games using your telephone as a controller. Yes, it's opaque. Not least that most of the Netflix games on the app store are already there in non-Netflix flavours with IAPs up the wazoo.
they got a category for mobile games, good mobile games... One of the few reasons I still have a subscription.
I only see the games in my Netflix app on my Android phone. If you can access them elsewhere, then Netflix has indeed managed to hide that from me too.
@Ron "AI powered" Gilbert I have a netflix account and tried to use the games and it outrightly failed
when you open the Netflix app on iOS it suggests some games, but you have them directly in the App Store. To play you need an active Netflix account.
everyone's jumping in with the "how to" on Netflix games, but let's not miss the point here, folks. The original post isn't a cry for help on how to dive into Netflix's gaming venture; it's a subtle nudge at how Netflix is dropping the ball in making it user-friendly. And honestly, I'm not sold on Netflix's dive into gaming either. Their motives seem far from pure, and the whole thing feels like a mismatch.
@Hexa Thank you! I'm glad someone noticed that.
I know where it is (in the mobile App) and it annoys the F*ck out of me. It's not what I associate Netflix with, and it's not what I want to see when I open that app.
I'd opt for a cheaper subscription tier without the games if that were available
