Not sure why we bother making up fictional alien races when right on Earth a word describes an egg-like smell that roughly 1/5 of all humans don't notice or have a word for it because it's culturally admitted: zankha.

So... what is it? Is this something like cilantro where you need a certain gene to detect it, or is this something else?
@Brian Γ“ I don't know! For all I know it may be entirely cultural.
This is very interesting to me and I feel the need to know more (which I will look into on my own, don't worry)... I wonder if this is similar to how we can experience different colours based on the names we have for colours, or sounds based on phonetic set or something else entirely 😢
