Went into a pub:

"Have you got any stouts?"
Bartender: "... Stout?"

Eventually it transpired she didn't know what stout was, so she got a second bartender who also didn't know what stout was, so she talked to the bar owner who told me they didn't...

Am I going mad? Have stouts gone extinct? 😂

I've never even had beer, and even I know what Stout is.. weird??

@Spooky Rosey Posey🌹👻 bars seem to only carry very light beer. Though I (a Canadian) can usually find one stout or porter. That doesn't surprise me though.

Oh and I may have buried the lede there - they had Guinness!! So clearly the owner of the bar didn't know what stout was either 😅
