Pondering a new edition of "networking for systems administrators." The problem is the cover.

Parody art is my go-to, but N4SA covers Linux, BSD, and Windows. Windows has no mascot to parody.

They are notably fierce in protecting their trademarks, so if they had a mascot I probably wouldn't use it.

Pondering using artsy.net/artwork/giuseppe-zoc… because it has lots of windows. Which is a total cop-out, but I'm prepared to hide wildly behind it.

Hmm. Off the top of my head, how about a various mascots laying rail tracks (or monorails to be futuristic) between houses. And one of those houses has a familiar arrangement of 2-over-2 windows, with blinds of different colors. Not sure about a mascot, but surely Bill Gates counts as a "public person" who can have his image used without issues, especially in caricature as a parody. I might pay extra for a special cover in which the rails are used to send creampies at Bill Gs face.. ;)
