Thinking about my dad has physical books containing implementations of common problems in C (like, how to do a disk seek efficiently)

Does my dad have the stack overflow of the 70s?
Not if it doesn’t also contain suggestions like “Use Go instead”, “But why do you want to do that?” or an irrelevant answer to a similar question.
I mean, it was written by a 70s hacker and always reccomends C
